Reaching the Extra-Liha play-off final earned the club the right to represent Dnipro in the main European cup for the first time in its history.
The 2025/26 Extra-Liha silver brought Athletic more than its first medals — by reaching the play-off final, the club earned the right to debut in the UEFA Futsal Champions League in the 2026/27 season.
For a team founded in 2015 it is a historic leap: from an amateur project to European competition in eleven years. As recently as 2023/24 Athletic played in the First League — and the very next season, after promotion to the Extra-Liha, it established itself among the strongest teams in the country.
The group stage opponents will be decided by the summer draw. The club plans to host its European home matches at the UDHTU Arena.
