Athletic opened the Extra-Liha play-offs in style: three straight wins in the quarter-final series against Kardynal-Avanhard.
The home matches at the UDHTU Arena ended 3:1 and a high-scoring 7:5, while the away game brought a narrow 2:1 win that closed the series.
In the semi-final Athletic will face Sukha Balka. The series starts on May 9 in Dnipro.
