The AFU has published the Extra-Liha clubs' poll for the best young player of 2025/26. Among the top six is Athletic's 16-year-old universal Danyil Lytvynovskyi.
The Futsal Association of Ukraine polled the Extra-Liha clubs to name the best young (U-21) player of 2025/26: each team submitted its own top five young players, excluding its own.
Artem Malynovskyi of Kardinal-Avanhard won the vote (38 points), with Maksym Haiduchyk of Liubart second (35). And among the top six is our own Danyil Lytvynovskyi with 7 points.
Danyil is just 16 — the youngest player in Athletic's squad — yet he has already played a full Extra-Liha season and stepped up in the biggest matches. A rating voted by opponents is the most honest recognition of talent.
Congratulations, Danyil — next up is the club's Champions League debut.
