Ukrainian silver medallists Athletic Futsal await the two opponents to be decided for Group 5 of the main round.
Following the draw, Ukrainian silver medallists Athletic Futsal were placed in Group 5 of the main round of the UEFA Champions League. The main round will be held from 27 October to 1 November at the arena of one of the Dnipro side's opponents — Serbian club Loznica-Grad 2018.
Two more future opponents for Athletic Futsal will be decided in the coming days: they will be the winners of qualifying groups A and G, whose matches run in parallel.
Group A features Slovenia's Vrhnika, tournament host Athletic Futsal Club Graz of Austria, Proekt of North Macedonia and Israel's Maccabi Netanya. The winner of this quartet advances to the main round.
Group G brings together Czech side Chrudim, host Studentski Dom of Montenegro, Sweden's Kalmar and Scotland's PYF Saltires. Its winner will also join Group 5.
Matches in both groups will be played from 26 to 29 August. Athletic Futsal will soon learn the full lineup of its opponents — the European challenge lies ahead.
