The draw for the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. It revealed where and against whom Athletic Futsal will begin its European journey.
The Dnipro club, ranked 22nd among Europe's best sides in the UEFA standings, will compete in the main round via Path B and was drawn into Group 5.
One opponent is already known — Serbia's Loznica-Grad 2018, who will host the group stage matches at their own arena. Two more opponents will be determined by the results of the preliminary round, as the winners of qualifying groups A and G join Group 5.
The main round matches will run from 27 October to 1 November. For Athletic Futsal this will be a debut in the UEFA Champions League — the continent's premier club competition.
