Athletic Futsal has signed Brazilian universal Levy Costa Neto. The 29-year-old, born on 17 July 1997, has played for a number of Brazilian clubs during his career — AABB, Cruzeiro Macaíba, Lagarto, Medianeira and Missal.
Over the past year and a half Levy played for the Lithuanian club Akmenė, for whom he made 32 official appearances and scored 47 goals. In the 2024/25 season he netted 9 goals in 10 matches, and in 2025/26 the Brazilian was especially prolific — 38 goals in 22 games. Those numbers point to a distinctly attacking player, capable of regularly deciding the outcome of matches.
Levy's honours include the Sergipe state title (2022), wins at the Paraná State Open Games (2023 and 2024), as well as a Lithuanian League runners-up finish and a place in the Lithuanian Cup final in 2025/26.
The new player's versatility allows Athletic's coaching staff to build attacking combinations with greater flexibility — it was precisely the variety and productivity of their attack that set the Dnipro side apart last season.
The signing of the experienced foreign player comes ahead of a special 2026/27 season for the club, in which Athletic Futsal will make its debut in the UEFA Champions League. The club welcomed its new signing and wished him bright matches, plenty of goals and new victories with the team.
