The former club captain who won the First League and made the Extra-Liha debut with Athletic returns — this time on the coaching staff.
Vitalii Dziuba has joined the team’s new coaching staff as assistant to head coach Denys Ovsiannikov.
Dziuba is well known to Athletic Futsal supporters. He played 66 matches for the club, scored 18 goals and captained the side that won the Ukrainian First League and made its Extra-Liha debut.
As a player he also represented LTK (Luhansk), In-Bev (Zhytomyr), HIT (Kyiv) and DE Trading (Mykolaivka), and made 8 appearances for the Ukraine national team.
Dziuba is currently an active player at FC Budivelnyk (Lysychansk) and will combine playing there with his coaching duties at Athletic Futsal. Special thanks to Budivelnyk president Kostiantyn Zhaldakov for making this possible.
Welcome back to Athletic Futsal, Vitalii — good luck in the new role!
