In the Extra-Liha round 4 clash with last season’s champions, Artem Shchur scored Athletic’s only goal. The game was interrupted several times by air-raid alerts.
On 19 September Athletic Futsal hosted HIT Kyiv — last season’s BetKing Extra-Liha champions — at UDHTU Arena in round 4. The clash between runners-up and champions ended in a 1:2 defeat for Dnipro.
Prolonged air-raid alerts stretched the match over several hours, and unfortunately that did not work in our favour. Athletic’s only goal came from Artem Shchur.
The team fought until the final siren. After four rounds Athletic have 6 points and sit 6th in the table.
Thank you to everyone who came to the stands and backed the team despite the alerts. Onwards.
